Hello friend,

So glad you found this spot. This is a safe place. A place created for you to put shame aside and discover what it means to be free. I want you to know that you are not alone in this journey. This site contains my story and some little nuggets of truth. I hope through my story, you recognize my brokenness. I hope you recognize that my brokenness doesn’t define me, and neither does yours. I hope you find freedom in Jesus. Because friend, there is nothing greater in this life than the overwhelming satisfaction that comes from the one who created you, the one who chose you. Beloved, YOU are important, YOU are loved, and YOU are never alone.

Christianity is so much more than going to heaven when you die. It’s knowing that you are loved every single day by this power that’s so much greater than human love. This God that surpasses all understanding and that fills the longings of your heart. A God that fills your desires more than any human ever could. Joy in even the worst moments. Joy that lasts forever even when it’s not a happy day. Beloved, it’s so much more than the after life. It’s about this life.

Let’s choose joy today.

XO, Cami

These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full. – John 15:11

… who feel lonely, bitter, or broken in the season of singleness.

Maybe you broke up with him, maybe he broke up with you, maybe you know it was the right decision, or maybe you’re confused because you thought when he said forever, he meant it. Your situation may be unknown to me, but I sure know the pain you feel because I’ve been there.

That’s what’s so incredible about Jesus. He knows our pain and our temptation because He lived it (Hebrews 2:18Hebrews 4:15). Oh, friend, you aren’t alone in your singleness.

I pray the resources I share with you today meet you right where you are at. I pray that you know you’re loved and you know it’s okay not to be okay right now. But I also hope you know that you won’t feel broken and alone forever.

My best advice to you, single friend, is to pray in your pain, and worship in your suffering (Romans 5:3-4).

Verses to read and pray over

Proverbs 3:5-6. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

Psalms 147:3. “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

Isaiah 41:10. “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

James 1:2. “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds.”

Romans 5:3. “Not only that, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance.”

James 1:12. “Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.”

Friend, you will get through this. You will become stronger; you will grow. I’ve found true joy in times of horrible pain, and I hope you will too. Joy comes from the Lord, not from circumstances. When you understand the difference between joy and happiness, your life will be independent of hardship and dependent on the Lord’s provision. And I’ve got good news sister, His provision never ends (2 Corinthians 9:8-11).

Your end goal isn’t a relationship. Your end goal isn’t marriage. Your end goal isn’t a white picket fence and five kids. Your end goal is to run toward the perfecter of the faith (Hebrews 12:1-3), citizenship in heaven (Philippians 3:20), a relationship with the God who knows you (Matthew 10:30).

Sister, I’m rooting for you in this season and this race.
