Can we talk for a sec about this persona of perfect Christianity? Can we just toss that thought into the dumpster behind McDonald’s? Because perfect Christianity is an oxymoron and perfect Christian is even more so. I am not perfect, but I am perfectly loved. I am not perfect, but I’m loved by a perfect savior. I am not perfect, but I’m fearfully and wonderfully made. I am not perfect, but I am loved and never alone.
You friend, are not invisible. You are a beautiful creation, a vessel to share the Perfect One. You face these trials, fight this battle, fall short, and so do I. We are in it together friend, and we are in it with Jesus, the One who upholds us and carries us through the battle. We are on the side of the One who won the war. Can we just rejoice in that?
