These are my recommendations (in order) for your first Bible studies. Let’s face it, studying the Bible can seem like an arduous task, many people regard it as only for Pastors and Leaders. I’m going to debunk that myth right now: while the Bible can be difficult, especially if you don’t know where to begin, studying the Word of God on your own and with others is ideal for your spiritual growth. I have strategically placed these three studies in the order I find most helpful. The first study was given to me by a Pastor’s Wife who was encouraging me to get in the Word; It taught me the basics of my faith. The second, The Gospel-Centered Life, drastically changed the way I live out my faith, I encourage all of you to do this study and meditate on each chapter. Seamless was helpful for me to understand the Bible as a story, it was like a Sunday school crash course.

- Read your Bible with a Spiritual Leader, someone a bit farther along in their Faith journey, a friend or maybe a leader at church! I recommend starting with John, then Ephesians, Galatians, and Corinthians. From there, shereadstruth.com, the YouVersion Bible app, and Desiring God have some great plans. You can also read it through chronologically, though I recommend that further down the line.
